Join the media revolution with next level testing for your creative
With Smile Reader you can apply science to the art of creative media. Don't rely on internal bias, let your consumers show you whats going to drive real engagement.
Upgrade your research. Existing tests are good, Smile Reader is next level. See every respondent in a 60fps video feed with facial coding and easy to use summary data with attention and emotion data.
How do I analyse a video?
Simply upload a video and Smile Reader will produce results for:
Which muscle groups in the face are activated
The type and intensity of emotional response these expressions suggest
Engagement & Attention
How intently the person is focussed on the stimulus or task and how emotionally engaged they are
Create the joy that builds winning brands
A study of 1,400 successful marketing campaigns found that those with emotional content performed twice as well (31%) as those with only rational content (16%). (Source, Forrester)
Understand the experiences that lose customers
Bad customer service costs businesses a staggering £37 billion in 2016, research from the Ombudsman Services found earlier in 2017. According to their survey, more than a quarter of consumers (28%) spent less with a company or took their custom elsewhere after receiving poor service.

How accurate is the reading?
The technology you use is an artificial intelligence system developed using machine learning with artificial neural networks trained with a data set of thousands of gigabytes of facial video from over 90 countries. The system uses computer vision to recognise facial expressions from any webcam and the algorithm then calculates attention and emotion analytics.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems that enable machines to solve a task in the same way humans do, in this case recognising facial expressions
Machine Learning (ML)
Machine Learning (ML) Algorithms that allow computers to learn from examples without being specifically programmed such as emotion classification
Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)
Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) Brain inspired machine learning models which enable the machine to become highly accurate at a specific function like a specialist human
Deep Learning (DL)
Deep Learning (DL) Subset of machine learning in artificial intelligence that is capable of learning unsupervised from data that is unstructured or unlabelled
